I just stumbled upon this sight and I gotta give you some props man! What an awesome idea and a totally invaluable service you have here. Nice work! Especially cool is the history of different bands with regards to the drummers (James Brown!!!!). Keep up the good work! Wow, you're the best. I'm glad I found your site and look forward to working with other charts. I haven't heard a drummer yet play with the simplicity of the original [Ain't Too Proud To Beg] and, as a result, get the same original Funk Brothers groove. Thanks a lot. I love the Brick House chart! I'm still working on the tune, if you can believe it -- it's challenging to play a quarter note on the first hi-hat beat every other measure, and then that bass drum beat on the 16th note anticipating the "4" -- wow. Those guys are geniuses, and you nailed it. --Naomi
